Programme Manager role:
- We seek a Programme Manager to lead and support a team in delivering construction projects efficiently and safely, from design to commissioning, within budget and to specification, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Programme Manager responsibilities:
- Lead projects, manage contracts, and oversee design-to-delivery transitions. - Responsible for project health and safety, report to monthly project management meetings and support Construction and Delivery Leads with contract matters and problem-solving. - Responsible for staff training and development, maintaining client relationships, resolving issues, and promoting exceptional safety and delivery quality to all. - Conduct thorough Technical, Safety, and Environmental reviews with the Design Manager to ensure project success. - Ensure Construction and Delivery Leads/Site Managers review MS/RA and Construction delivery plans with H&S in mind. - Develop work procedures for quality control. - Report and cost all site non-conformities. - Manage project commercial aspects effectively, providing accurate forecasts and estimates. - Adhere to Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies and Targets.
Programme Manager requirements:
Essential: - Experienced in managing projects of all sizes and complexities. - Degree or equivalent in a construction-related field. - APMP or equivalent. - A delivery-focused leader who can motivate teams and achieve project objectives in terms of time, cost, and quality. - Strategic, operational, technical and management skills.
Desirable: - Water/wastewater infrastructure experience. - Experience in using Primavera or Power project. - Chartered or near chartered in a construction discipline. - Working knowledge of construction Health & Safety.
