Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain custom software tools for the aerodynamics department, focusing on wind tunnel systems.
* Work across the full stack—from database to user interface—integrating with wind tunnel processes.
* Take ownership of tasks and projects from concept to delivery.
* Drive capability improvements for our users and advocate best practices in software engineering.
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven programming skills in Python and associated technologies.
* Experience working with SQL databases (ideally SQL Server).
* Demonstrable experience writing data processing software, including applying mathematical operations to time‑series data.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* A proactive, adaptable, and pragmatic mindset to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
