Following successful completion of probation, you will be provided with either a company van or a car allowance, depending on role requirements. 35 hours per week (Mon - Fri) The Role As an Infrastructure & Cloud Consultant, you will design and deliver modern Microsoft based solutions that help customers get the best from their technology, securely, reliably, and with minimal disruption. Working across Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, identity, networking, and security you will guide organisations through cloud adoption, migrations, and modernisation using our proven delivery frameworks. A key part of the role is ensuring every engagement delivers a smooth, confident, and effortless customer experience, from initial design through to handover and ongoing service. This is a hands-on role where you will lead projects end-to-end, work closely with customers and internal teams, and help shape the evolution of our cloud and infrastructure services. Typical Projects You’ll be hands on with work such as: Migrating servers, applications, and identities into 365 Designing and implementing hybrid identity solutions with Entra ID Intune and Autopilot deployments Microsoft 365 security and compliance projects Windows Server upgrades and Active Directory modernisation Network redesigns (VPNs, multi-site connectivity, firewall integration) Backup and disaster recovery solutions Projects typically run 10–25 days across 50–100 user environments. Main Tasks Deliver multiple concurrent infrastructure and cloud projects to time, quality, and customer experience standards. Work closely with IT Project Managers to plan resources and track progress. Provide regular, clear updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Push back constructively on unrealistic demands, offering achievable and well-explained alternatives. Create and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation. Present technical updates confidently to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders. Support onboarding and mentoring of junior team members. Maintain strong performance against KPIs, including Quality Score and Customer Feedback Score (target: 90%). Qualifications & Certifications We’re looking for candidates with either formal qualifications and/or hands-on experience. Ideal certifications include: Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) CompTIA A and Network Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or SC-300 Hornet VM & 365 Backup Training 4GON Ubiquiti Wireless Administrator WatchGuard Firewall Implementation Course Experience & Skills 2 years in IT consultancy or technical delivery roles, ideally in cloud or infrastructure. Proven track record of successful solution delivery. Strong project scoping, resource management, and communication skills. Commercial and business awareness.
