We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Liaison Officer to join our team, based at our Wimbledon office. This is a long-term role supporting children, families, and professionals, with a strong focus on safeguarding and early intervention. The successful candidate must hold a current DSL Level 3 qualification and have proven experience working with families in a safeguarding or support capacity. Key Responsibilities Act as a key point of contact between families, the organisation, and external agencies Provide advice, guidance, and practical support to families facing complex challenges Identify safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action in line with policies and procedures Work closely with schools, social care, health professionals, and other partners Maintain accurate, confidential records and contribute to case reviews and reports Promote positive engagement and build trusting relationships with families Support the organisation’s safeguarding culture and best practice standards Essential Requirements DSL Level 3 qualification (mandatory) Experience in a family liaison, safeguarding, pastoral, or support role Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy Confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Desirable Experience working within education, social care, or a family support service Knowledge of local safeguarding partnerships and referral processes Additional safeguarding or family support training What We Offer A stable, long-term role within a supportive team Opportunity to make a meaningful difference to families and children Ongoing professional development and training Office-based role in Wimbledon with access to local amenities and transport links Apply now or send your CV to (url removed)
