You’ll join a collaborative department covering landlord & tenant, sales/purchases, refinance and development matters. Commercial Property Solicitor — Position Overview: Office is in Luton (with occasional travel to Berkhamsted) Manage a varied commercial property caseload, build client relationships, and help grow the team. Experience with land acquisition and development is helpful but not essential. Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Solicitor: Handle sales, purchases, leases/lease extensions, assignments, surrenders, alterations, securitisation/lending, and deeds of easement. (Where applicable) support option agreements, conditional contracts, s.106, land acquisitions, development projects and plot sales. Run searches and Land Registry submissions; provide clear written/oral advice. Develop work through networking/marketing; manage risk, compliance and client expectations. Support/mentor junior colleagues and contribute to BD, CPD and local events. Requirements of the Commercial Property Solicitor: Essential: Qualified Solicitor (7–10 years’ PQE in commercial property). Strong experience across sales, purchases, leases, securitisation and lease transactions. Excellent client care, organisation and communication; confident with case management and MS Office. Desirable: Land acquisition/development and development funding experience. Knowledge of Lexcel requirements.
