We are looking to recruit caring, organized, compassionate people to join our team of community carers. The role is a very rewarding position, and you will be working with a team of dedicated carers that have a strong management structure. The job role involves traveling from client to client as we are a domiciliary care agency.

· Have a mode of transport to get from client to client or be happy to walk from client to client.
The Community Carer's role involves:
· Assisting clients in the community to remain as independent as possible within their own homes. It will involve aspects of personal care(e.g. assisting clients with washing, dressing,ect), incontinence care (e.g. dealing with urine and faeces), meal preparation, medication administration (e.g. managing, monitoring and administering medications to clients), and general tasks around their home. · Problem-solve issues in the community with clients.
· Liaise with GP's, OT's, Physios, Social workers, and any other health care professionals as and when needed.
Ideally, we would prefer you to have completed your care certificate and/or your NVQ2/3 or Diploma in Health and Social Care. If you do not have these qualifications, we will support you to obtain these qualifications while you are employed with us. We would also prefer candidates with experience but if you feel you have the right attributes and are interested in starting a career in care then please contact us to discuss the possibility of you joining our team.
The availability we are looking for is:
Minimum 20hrs to a Maximum of 40hrs over 5 day per week (1 out of 5 of the day being a Saturday or Sunday)

To be considered for the role you will be expected to complete an application form in full, with full employment history, two references, and complete an Enhanced DBS check. We currently use an app that you will be required to download to your phone at no cost to yourself, but you will require a Smart Phone to operate the app.
We understand you may be eager to start, so we will be organizing shadowing and inductions as quickly as possible. You will be given induction training prior to starting work, supervision, and shadowing to support you with your role and completion of the care certificate during your first 12 weeks employment with us.
