Trinity House Group are exclusively partnering with a market leading SME business, to recruit a Financial Controller, based in Derby. We are looking for a hands-on finance professional to join the business, to support with various operational projects and manage a small finance team.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will complete monthly management accounts and collaborate with the wider finance team to deliver accurate analysis and management information. The business is going through a period of transformation, and as such we require a candidate who brings confidence and experience to the role. You will also complete the financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, providing commentary and insights.
The Duties
* Responsible for the preparation of month end management accounts.
* Preparation and submission of month and year end accounts.
* Develop internal controls, KPI reporting and systems.
* Provide financial information and oversee the day to day finance activities.
The Requirements
* Qualified Accountant with proven experience.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
