Grant UK is recruiting a temporary role for maternity cover within their Marketing Department based in Swindon, with hybrid working available.
Reporting to the Content and Communications Manager, this role is responsible for updating and maintaining the company website and mobile apps through content management systems (CMS) as well as working alongside digital agencies to support search engine optimisation (SEO).
The role:
* Monitoring and maintaining the company website, apps and eLearning platform, uploading and updating content through Umbraco CMS and Absorb LMS
* Communicating and collaborating with external agencies including SEO agency and web developers
* Supporting with the delivery of digital projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
* Supporting SEO and website optimisation, writing and updating web elements such as meta titles, meta descriptions, internal and external linking, and general user experience (UX) optimisation
* Supporting with the provision of Grant content on third-party websites
* Identifying areas for improvement on our platforms and making recommendations
Essential skills:
* A keen eye for website design, to enhance user experience and ensure consistency
* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
* Very organised with the ability to work to deadlines and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Experience and knowledge of the key principles and best practice techniques associated with SEO
* Experience of working as part of a team and developing relationships with external agencies
* Previous experience in a digital marketing role and/or hold digital marketing qualification
* Understanding of web analytics tools and platforms such as a GA4 and Google Search Console
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A good standard of computer literacy
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Planner, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
* A passion for continuous learning and development
Desirable but not essential skills:
* Experience with Umbraco CMS
* Experience with Absorb LMS
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
