Role Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Knowledge and Information Manager to support two high-profile projects-one of which involves a significant Microsoft 365 migration. The role will be split evenly across both initiatives, focusing on the effective management of information systems and ensuring best practices are embedded across the organisation.
You'll be responsible for overseeing systems that support records management, data governance, information architecture, and knowledge sharing, ensuring they are aligned, well-maintained, and deliver measurable value. A key part of the role involves working closely with stakeholders to embed robust information and records management practices, support the development of the Information Asset Register, and provide expert guidance on intellectual property and compliance. You'll also represent the function in key meetings, including governance forums and project working groups.
Responsibilities
Deliver knowledge and information management support across two concurrent projects, including an M365 migration
Manage and enhance systems that underpin records management, data governance, and knowledge architecture
Collaborate with stakeholders to embed effective information management practices across the organisation
Maintain oversight of the Information Asset Register and ensure alignment with governance standards
Provide expert advice to staff and project teams on knowledge and records management
Participate in governance and project meetings, contributing to strategic planning and delivery
What you'll need to succeed
British Citizenship as you will need to undergo Security clearance and an even higher clearance.
RQF Level 3 qualification or equivalent
Hands-on experience with content and database management systems
Strong understanding of information structuring techniques such as taxonomies, metadata standards, glossaries, and tagging
Demonstrated expertise in:
Information architecture and governance
Records and knowledge management
Stakeholder engagement and communication
Risk identification and mitigation
