In this role you will play a key part in developing and implementing the Group risk framework, helping Openwork make informed, risk-based decisions. Working closely with Senior Risk Managers, you'll partner with teams across the business to deepen their understanding of their risk and control environments and support them in effectively mitigating potential risks. Key Accountabilities: Provide support to the wider second line function as required Support Senior Risk Manager by feeding into the narratives to the risk assessments and reports for the OHL Board, Risk and Compliance Committee and OHL executive team Support the Group Risk Director in ensuring that the risk and control frameworks of the Group and its businesses are operating effectively Liaise with managers across the business to pinpoint the risk involved in their function, and put controls in place to satisfy the risks Share best practices with managers and support the creation of their individual frameworks Help the Senior Risk Manager to drive ownership and understanding of the benefits of risk management across the business. Innovate and develop new risk approaches, utilising industry and subject knowledge and contacts Ownership and maintenance of the Group risk database, acting as lead administrator for user access and queries, and development of new functionality Work with the business on maintaining risk and incident logs and escalating emerging issues as appropriate What will you need to succeed? Proven background within a customer service or risk function where technical and analytical skills have been utilised A hunger to learn and an eagerness to grow Educated to a degree level in the areas of Finance, Economics or Business Management.
