Compliance Administrator - Construction
£30, per annum
Chelmsford, Essex
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
*You must drive and have access to a vehicle due to the location of the business.
Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a varied and rewarding role? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in supporting HR, compliance, health & safety, and office coordination, making a real impact across the business.
You'll be the go-to person for administration across multiple areas, including:
Compliance:
1. Maintain online profiles
2. Book CSCS training and process CITB claims
3. Keep supplier lists up to date in line with ISO standards
4. Track carbon reduction statistics
5. File monthly paperwork electronically
HR Support:
6. Manage annual leave bookings
7. Assist with onboarding new starters
8. Process leavers and update systems
9. Coordinate IT setups including laptops and phones
10. Support wellbeing initiatives and events
Health & Safety:
11. Handle health surveillance questionnaires
12. Update risk assessments
13. Issue general H&S communications
14. Complete fire safety checks
15. Log PPE distribution
Facilities & Office Coordination:
16. Assist with meter readings and facilities servicing
17. Book meeting rooms and maintain housekeeping standards
18. Welcome visitors and manage refreshments for leadership meetings
19. Handle deliveries and stock management
20. Operate the switchboard and direct calls professionally

What we're looking for:
24. Previous experience within administration required
25. Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, excellent communication, and organisational skills
26. GCSEs in Maths & English or equivalent
27. Professional, proactive, and eager to learn
28. HR or compliance experience ideal, not essential
