This is a great opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer to join our clients team! This is a very diverse role so if you have previous experience as a Test Engineer, an open mind, and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing industry, then this could be the role for you!
Duties include:
1. Performing advanced test setups of both software and hardware and ensuring they meet requirements
2. Creating and editing a variety of test programs, as well as debugging them
3. Monitoring tests and interventions to capture data and report any faults
4. Calibration and fault finding of test facility
5. Set up and carry out maintenance on instrumentation
6. Any other duties required
The successful candidate will have / be:
7. An engineering qualification or experience in an engineering field
8. A strong understanding of engine functions and then functionality of fuel injection systems
9. Able to carry out calibration and machine commissioning
10. The ability to program test equipment (National Instruments / AVL Puma) – this is desirable, not essential
11. Strong communication skills
12. Computer literate – MS Office
