Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.</p><h3>Location</h3><p><b>Location:</b> Leicester with 1-2 days each week supporting site in Coventry</p><h3>Hours</h3><p><b>Hours:</b> Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, plus ad-hoc Saturdays through year as required (day off in lieu if work a Saturday))</p><h3>What you’ll do</h3><p>We’re looking for a talented Senior Sales & Marketing Executive who can help drive growth in the Chinese student market. This role blends digital sales and marketing, and team leadership, with a focus on engaging with students/parents in China.</p><ul><li><b>Fluent Chinese (Mandarin) and English language skills required.</b></li><li>Due to the nature of this role we will need someone who is living in Leicester currently and is happy to drive/travel to Coventry when required. Ideally you will drive but this is not essential as other team members will be able to provide transport. We are looking for a minimum of a 12 month contract or a permanent hire so we are happy to consider applicants on PSW / Graduate visas and have at least 12 months left to work without restriction.</li></ul><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Respond to and follow up on enquiries via multiple platforms, with a focus on online chat, WeChat, and WeChat Mini Programme.</li><li>Support and guide sales teams on best practice when engaging with Chinese-speaking customers.</li><li>Create and deliver China-specific sales tools, including sales packs and training for partner agencies.</li><li>Manage and improve customer communication processes, ensuring all leads are maximised.</li><li>Handle escalated complaints from Chinese tenants in line with company policy.</li><li>Ensure all leads are recorded and tracked in CRM systems.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date sales documents, pricing cards, and availability sheets.</li><li>Manage the “Chat” platform, including settings, triggers, and users.</li><li>Track and report weekly performance metrics to senior management.</li><li>Provide translation support for marketing and customer materials.</li><li>Process bookings, allocate rooms, handle guarantor documents, and manage payments.</li><li>Assist with check-in and check-out processes, with a focus on improving the experience for Chinese students.</li></ul><h3>Marketing</h3><ul><li>Manage Chinese social media channels (WeChat, Red), posting engaging content and updates.</li><li>Keep agency profiles and online content updated with relevant promotions.</li><li>Propose and implement improvements to marketing and sales processes.</li><li>Coordinate live tours with Chinese partner agencies.</li><li>Support and attend events such as Open Days, Welcome Parties, and Lunar New Year celebrations.</li></ul><h3>Team Management</h3><ul><li>Line manage sales executives, including one-to-one meetings, appraisals, and training plans.</li><li>Create weekly rotas and daily work plans.</li><li>Approve timesheets and ensure training is completed.</li></ul><h3>What We’re Looking For</h3><ul><li>Native or fluent Mandarin speaker (additional Cantonese language skills an advantage).</li><li>Strong sales and customer service experience.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.</li><li>Knowledge of Chinese social media platforms (WeChat, Red) and marketing practices.</li><li>Organised, proactive, and confident managing a small team.</li><li>Experience in student accommodation, property, or hospitality is desirable but not essential.</li></ul><h3>Seniority level</h3><ul><li>Associate</li></ul><h3>Employment type</h3><ul><li>Full-time</li></ul><h3>Job function</h3><ul><li>Sales, Marketing, and Advertising</li></ul><h3>Industries</h3><ul><li>Real Estate</li><li>Marketing Services</li><li>Hospitality</li></ul></div>
