The Senior Conveyancing Attorney is responsible for managing a portfolio of property transfers and related property transactions while leading a team of conveyancing paralegals and support staff
The incumbent will play a key role in business development, client relationship management, and the growth of the firm's conveyancing practice
Minimum requirements:
LLB degree, and Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South AfricaAdmitted Conveyancer and NotaryAt least 5 years' post-admittance experienceProven experience managing a team of conveyancing paralegals and administrative staffDemonstrated ability to manage high-volume conveyancing transactionsEstablished professional network and existing client base within the property industryExperience in business development and marketing of legal serviceManage and oversee all aspects of property transfers, sectional title transactions, developments, and related conveyancing mattersEnsure compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and professional requirementsProvide legal advice and guidance to clients, property practitioners, developers, financial institutions, and other stakeholdersMonitor transaction progress and ensure adherence to service level standardsResolve complex conveyancing and property law matterTeam leadership and managementBusiness development and marketingClient relationship management
