KITCHEN ASSISTANT / COMMIS CHEF | £12.37 per hour
All colleagues working in Rajinda Pradesh, Hucks American Bar and Grill, The Pancake House, Sports Café, The Lakeside Inn, Foresters Inn and Vitalé Café Bar benefit from the discretionary service charge added to bills. The majority of guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef to join our friendly team. In this role, you will have the chance to learn and progress from the ground floor up, helping with the preparation, cooking and presentation of food. You will work to high standards in an environment that combines popular menus and quality food with excellent service. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and the desire to learn and develop. Prior kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Please note you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longleat Forest (BA12 7PU) as it is not easily accessible by public transport. If you plan to use public transport, please Plan Your Journey.
Hours of Work
We have flexible contracts available. Your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours per period.
150 hours per 4-week period - permanent contract
150 hours per 4-week period - fixed-term until 1 January 2026
Please state your desired contracted hours from the options above under the suitability section of your application form. As our village is open 365 days a year, your working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
