We are ideally seeking someone with experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment who enjoys patient interaction and thrives as part of a team. You will be working alongside two resident Pharmacists and a strong, welcoming team committed to delivering excellent patient care and service. To help support our in-store team and reduce workload pressures, we benefit from central dispensing support, including an Original Pack Dispensing Hub and a dedicated MDS (Monitored Dosage System) Hub, allowing the pharmacy team to focus more on patient care and service delivery. About the Role As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Pharmacist Manager and ensuring the smooth running of the dispensary. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the delivery of safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing services Providing excellent customer service at the front counter and supporting patients with their needs Supporting the pharmacy team in delivering advanced and enhanced services Helping develop relationships with patients and healthcare professionals Ensuring the pharmacy operates effectively in line with company procedures and standards You will be an integral part of a small, hardworking, and supportive team where teamwork and patient care are at the heart of everything we do. Training & Career Development The first step in your journey will be settling into the team and completing the Day Lewis induction programme. Depending on your previous pharmacy experience, you may complete a Pharmacy Assistant course (typically 3–6 months). We are passionate about developing the next generation of Pharmacy Technicians and fully support further training, including course funding and reimbursement. Opportunities include progression towards the BTEC Level 3 Diploma – Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians.
