Be part of our kitchen team

Fancy getting stuck in, working hard and being part of an experienced kitchen team. We need someone who is passionate about the quality of their food and delivers to a high standard.

We understand the importance of having a good work-life balance, in this we pride ourselves on having a strong team to ensure all our Chef's work to 45 hours per week and are able to book their own time off.

As Sous chef you will report directly to the head chef and have a variety of responsibilities. You will need to supervise, motivate and manage chefs of all levels in the kitchen. To be able to organise and delegate tasks to different areas of the kitchen. Keep control of stock, oversea orders and manage prep levels. Uphold excellent food hygiene standards and health and safety procedures. Ensure the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.

* Great knowledge of a variety of food and ingredients

* Ability to uphold hygiene standards and a clean work environment
* Uphold personal & team hygiene standards
* Communication skills
* Competent in managing wastage and loss
* Understanding of orders and stock control
* An understanding of Allergens

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
