Happi Feet Nursery is a new and welcoming nursery in the heart of Gillingham, dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for young children. We are now looking for a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our fantastic team on a term-time only basis.

Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner:
* Act as a dedicated key person for a group of children, ensuring their individual needs are met and building strong bonds with them and their families.
* Plan, create, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date learning journey records for your key children, tracking their progress and planning for their next steps.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and secure.
* Work in partnership with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on their child's development.
* Uphold all nursery policies and procedures, with a strong focus on safeguarding and health & safety.
* Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support your colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the room.
What You Will Bring:
* A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is essential (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3).
* A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding principles.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them to achieve their full potential.
* A warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A Paediatric First Aid certificate is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
