Salary: £90–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

A supportive secondary school in Hartlepool is seeking a confident and motivated Graduate Cover Supervisor to join their team. This Graduate Cover Supervisor role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching and looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
The successful Graduate Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher. As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, ensuring pupils remain on task and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Graduate Cover Supervisor:
* Delivering pre-planned lessons to secondary pupils.
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
* Ensuring pupils complete set work to a high standard.
* Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons.
* Supporting pupils with questions related to the set work.
* Upholding school policies and safeguarding procedures.
The Ideal Graduate Cover Supervisor Will:
* Hold a degree in any subject.
* Be confident leading a classroom independently.
* Have strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* Be adaptable, proactive and resilient.
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
* Have a fully checkable work history.
