Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred support with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, ensuring each individual’s needs and preferences are met. Provide companionship and emotional support to help reduce loneliness, promote wellbeing, and encourage positive mental health. Support individuals to maintain independence by enabling participation in community activities, social engagement, and attendance at appointments. Assist with safe mobility and transfers using approved Moving and Handling techniques, always prioritising dignity, comfort, and safety. Respond to individuals who may present with challenging behaviours in a calm, professional, and supportive manner, ensuring a safe environment for all. Encourage and empower clients to achieve their personal goals, build confidence, and improve their overall quality of life.
