Here at GXO, we’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Transport Nightshift Supervisor to join our NHS Supply Chain contract based in Rugby. You’ll ensure smooth, compliant, and cost-effective transport operations during the night shift. This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Sunday to Thursday, covering the hours of 22:00 till 06:00. What you’ll do on a typical day: Leading and motivating a team of night shift drivers to hit performance targets Ensuring full compliance with transport legislation and company policies Managing cost and service levels in line with KPIs Coordinating with warehouse and customer service teams to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries Driving continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and enhance service What you need to succeed at GXO: Strong previous experience working within Transport Operations Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to plan and flex driver and vehicle levels to meet operational needs Knowledge of transport legislation and compliance International CPC holder We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
