Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly-organised, accurate and effective Administrator/Secretary to join the Conveyancing Department of a local law firm to provide administrative support and maintain efficient office operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day activities and support for one of the Solicitors in the Conveyancing Department.

Full time hours would be 9-5 Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break, but there can be some flexibility in these hours for the right candidate.

Duties:

- Performing general administrative duties within the department

* Managing correspondence and email communications on case files

* Organising and scheduling client appointments

* Document creation and management on the firm's Practice Management System

* Completing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently on Land Registry and Search Providers' portals

* Answering phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette

* Conducting clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and typing (including digital dictation transcription)

Required Skills:

- Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively

- Proficiency in spelling and grammar

- Ability to complete data entry tasks with precision (good IT skills)

* Experience in general administrative duties
* Competence in office operations and procedures
* Excellent phone etiquette when handling calls
* Skilful in clerical duties, including typing accurately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

Education:

* A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

* Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
