Description
We are currently recruiting a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Moffett Driver to join our team.
Working with various companies between Andover, Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of materials to residential and commercial sites using a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB).
This is a customer-facing role and ideal for a driver who takes pride in safety, punctuality, and excellent service.
Competitive Pay | Immediate Start
Guaranteed weekly salary for the right person and hourly rates starting from £16/hour depending on experience.
Own transport required to get to assignments, with fuel PAID (for certain distances)
Key Responsibilities
1. Operate HIAB vehicle to deliver building materials to various sites.
2. Hiab experience at least 6 months preferred
3. HGV Driving experience at least 2 years preferred
4. Load and unload using the lorry-mounted crane (brick grab or hook)
5. Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all transport legislation
6. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
7. Represent the company professionally at all times
Requirements
8. Valid UK HGV Licence
9. HIAB Certificate (brick grab and/or hook)
10. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
11. Minimum 6 months HIAB experience preferred
12. Good knowledge of local roads and delivery procedures·
13. Reliable, punctual and well-presented
