The role:
1. Manage your own portfolio of properties throughout the tenancy lifecycle
2. Maintain internal Property Management systems and accurate record keeping
3. Coordinate and manage property maintenance, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
4. Process contractor invoices once works are verified as complete
5. Arrange and oversee property inspections, safety checks, and compliance visits
6. Ensure properties always remain legally compliant, including Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs, EPCs, and other statutory requirements
7. Handle tenancy applications, referencing and prepare tenancy documents
8. Conduct property viewings and arrange tenant check-ins/check-outs
9. Register deposits and assist with any deposit disputes if needed
10. Liaise with block management companies to coordinate third-party access (e.g. cladding works, fire safety inspections)
11. Build strong working relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
12. Monitor rent arrears and liaise with landlords and tenants where appropriate
13. Carry out day-to-day tenancy administration with accuracy and attention to detail
The successful candidate:
14. Has prior experience in the property industry (essential)
15. A clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
16. Has strong working knowledge of compliance and safety legislation within residential lettings
17. Provides outstanding customer service to landlords and tenants
18. Communicates effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing
19. Has excellent organisational skills and can manage a diverse workload
20. Is calm under pressure, efficient with time, and confident in prioritising tasks
21. Is a team player with a proactive and responsible attitude
22. Enjoys working towards targets
