£32,916 – £51,048 PER YEAR (IN LINE WITH THE NATIONAL TEACHER PAY SCALES, TERM TIME ONLY) – Salary dependent on experience and/or qualifications.
Vision for Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Bootle (L20) to recruit a PE Teacher for a long-term role, Monday to Friday. This position, starting on 5th January, is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated PE specialist who is passionate about promoting physical education, wellbeing, and active lifestyles. The school is looking to secure a suitable candidate within the next week, with the potential for the right teacher to be taken on permanently.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the PE Teacher position, the school have requested:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching PE to pupils aged 11–16, including both practical and theoretical content
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A positive attitude, resilience, and excellent communication skills
• A passion for sport, physical activity, and encouraging student participation
• A willingness to plan and deliver engaging lessons and work as part of a wider school team
