Job Title: Deputy Manager
Provision: 2 Bed, EBD Children's Home, Ofsted Regulated.
Where you will be based: Cramlington, North East
The Service Users: Children aged 7 to 17 with Mild Learning Difficulties and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Working Week and Pay:
* Hours: 48 hours per week, 4 shifts of 12 hours each on a rolling rota, days only. Note that the Deputy Manager is responsible for the staff rota including their own shifts.
* Salary: £37,800 per annum

What you will need/None-Negotiables:
* Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
* Experience: Previous role as a Deputy or Assistant Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker in the Residential Child Care sector
* Driving Licence: A full, valid, UK driving licence for manual vehicles
* Fluent in English: Good verbal and written communication skills
* Other Skills: IT proficient and the desire to learn new skills
* Understanding of: Safeguarding children, legislation relating to residential childcare, and confidence in supervising care teams
