Legal Secretary – Litigation

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable law firm in Sunderland who are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support their busy litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a competent and highly organised legal secretary with proven experience in litigation support and bundle preparation.
The Role
* Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
* Preparing, collating and indexing court bundles (paper and electronic)
* Managing diaries, deadlines and court dates
* Filing documents with the court and liaising with counsel and third parties
* Handling incoming calls, emails and client enquiries professionally
* General administrative support including file management and billing assistance
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation
* Strong knowledge of court procedures and litigation documentation
* Proven competence in producing accurate and well‑organised bundles
* High level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Professional, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
