Job Description
As Procurement Officer, duties will include, however, not be limited to:
3. Manage end-to-end procurement processes to support business objectives.
4. Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for money.
5. Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
6. Monitor market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
7. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs effectively.
9. Prepare and analyse reports on procurement activities to inform decision-making.
10. Support the implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Officer should have:
11. Experience in procurement or supply chain management.
12. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
13. Proficiency in procurement tools and systems.
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
15. Knowledge of procurement policies and best practices.
