This innovative engineeringpany based in the Stockport area is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
Purchase ledger
1. Match and process purchase invoices
2. Supplier statement reconciliation
3. Prepare Supplier payment list
4. Liaise with suppliers to answer queries
5. Set up new suppliers
Sales Ledger
6. Raise sales orders and send out sales invoices
7. Credit control
Other duties
8. Manage petty cash
9. Process expenses
10. Reconciliation of credit card statement
11. Book travel and amodation
12. Answer phones
13. Greet visitors
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have strongmunication skills with a friendly/enthusiastic manner and the ability to get involved with all tasks to be a real team player. If you have finance experience in a similar role, this will be highly advantageous to your application.
