Maintenance Mechanical Engineer
Salary: £40,000 + quarterly bonus (up to 5%)
Hours: 38 hours per week with breaks paid (Mon–Thur 8 hrs, Fri 6 hrs)
Shifts: Rotating 3-shift pattern (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am)

What you’ll be doing:
* Preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
* Fault finding on hydraulic and pneumatic circuits (with schematic drawings).
* Mechanical inspections (PMIs) and tool changes.
* Safety checks on moving machinery.
* Fabrication and machining tasks when needed.
* Maintenance of facility services and equipment including boilers, compressors, pumps, air handling units, and extraction fans.
* Supporting small installation and continuous improvement projects.
* Ensuring TPMs are completed and tools are production-ready.
* Assisting the electrical team where required.
* Taking on other reasonable duties to support smooth operations.
What we’re looking for:
* Recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship.
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years’ plant maintenance experience.
* Strong fault-finding and mechanical skills.
* Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Flexible and willing to learn new skills and undertake further training.
