The Role:
Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for video production and leading teams? DriveTribe is looking for a talented and driven Lead Creative Producer to join our dynamic content team. In this pivotal role, you will co-lead the video team, shaping bold new ideas and bringing them to life through world-class filming, directing, and editing. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong creative vision, technical expertise, and a passion for producing content that excites audiences on YouTube and beyond. This is a hybrid role, based in the Radstock/Bath area with flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the YT Strategy Channel Manager on ideation, structure, and scripting, providing creative direction on concepts, formats, and storytelling.
* Act as a self-shooting director, ensuring shoots are executed to pre-production plans and delivered on time to the highest creative and technical standards.
* Attend shoot briefings ensuring all creative and technical needs are clear before production.
* Direct and collaborate with on-screen talent to achieve strong performances and maintain narrative integrity.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the video team — providing technical guidance, constructive feedback, and supporting ongoing skills growth.
* Oversee post-production, from allocating edits through to QC review and final sign-off.
* Suggest and trial new creative concepts to elevate the brand's content offering.
* Maintain oversight of kit/equipment, making recommendations for upgrades or new additions.
Who you are
* A natural-born storyteller with a
huge passion for cars and car culture
— whether it's JDM, classic, motorsport, or future EVs.
* A natural creative leader with a strong background in video production, direction, and editing.
* Comfortable leading teams, inspiring creativity, and setting a high standard for content.
* Experienced in shaping narratives and visual storytelling that resonate with our Youtube audiences.
* Calm under pressure, organised, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
* Bonus if you have experience in the automotive or media space, or producing content for YouTube/social platforms.
