Job Role: FoH Assistant - Café Hollies
Location: The Hollies Farm Shop - Lower Stretton
Type of contract: Full-Time / Part-Time
Reports to: Manager - Café Hollies
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
* Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, welcoming experience
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens
* Handle customer payments with care and accuracy
* Resolve customer concerns politely and professionally
Food & Beverage Service
* Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to company standards
* Serve food items in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
* Restock displays, fridges, and service areas as needed
Cleanliness & Organization
* Maintain cleanliness of all cafe areas, including counters, equipment, indoor seating areas and external seating areas
* Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times, including wearing aprons, hair tied back, hand washing, no eating (hand to mouth)
* Assist with opening and closing duties, including Logit records
Team Support
* Work collaboratively with baristas and kitchen staff
* Follow instructions from supervisors and managers
* Support smooth daily operations during busy periods
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Basic cash handling skills
* Good time management and attention to detail

* Flexible availability, including weekends and bank holidays
Additional Duties
* Must be flexible to work weekends
