Duties of an MOT Tester with our client:
11. Carry out MOTs on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles in line with industry standards
12. Perform basic mechanical repairs and servicing when required
13. Complete accurate repair and service records
14. Support company policies on health, safety, and data security
15. Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
What our client expects of their MOT Testers:
16. Fully qualified NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
17. Valid MOT Licence for Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles (Class 5 licence is a plus but not essential, as training can be provided)
18. Confidence to carry out MOT inspections independently
19. Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
20. Friendly, approachable attitude and a team player mentality
21. Full UK driving licence
Nice to Have:
22. Experience with diagnostic systems and workshop equipment
23. Mechanical or servicing experience beyond MOT testing
24. Willingness to undertake further training, including Class 5 MOT qualification
