Senior Manager - Workplace Health & Wellbeing As a senior member of the Workplace Health & Wellbeing (WHW) team, you will lead advisory relationships and drive business development across a portfolio of Risk clients, including large and complex schemes. You will act as a subject matter expert for Risk within WHW, modelling technical excellence and providing strategic direction across your portfolio and the wider team. Role and Responsibilities Client Leadership & Consultancy Lead consultancy advice for a portfolio of Risk clients, including large, complex, and strategically significant schemes. Conduct detailed client reviews in line with renewal schedules and deliver high‑quality written reports outlining market findings, recommendations, and coverage specifications. Oversee implementation of policies, ensuring all arrangements, documentation and regulatory requirements are correctly and efficiently delivered. Identify and drive changes or restructuring needs across clients’ Risk arrangements, providing clear strategic advice and actionable recommendations. Where permissible, proactively explore opportunities to transition previous clients to Isio where appropriate and value‑adding. Business Development & Market Engagement Drive business development activity, independently growing the portfolio and increasing profitability. Represent WHW in new business pitches and presentations where appropriate, acting as a trusted contact for incoming market opportunities. Participate in tender responses, strategic projects, and wider practice initiatives to support growth ambitions. Liaise with insurers to gather market intelligence, understand product developments, and ensure competitive and informed advice. Operational Oversight & Relationship Management Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the client portfolio, ensuring all queries and issues are resolved promptly and to a high standard. Liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and providers to maintain seamless service delivery and excellent client satisfaction. Assist with monitoring, supporting, and managing claims where required. Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of insurer terms, market practice, legislation, and regulatory developments. Leadership & Team Contribution Act as a senior contributor within the WHW leadership team, inputting into team strategy, processes, and development activities. Support colleagues by providing guidance on complex queries and contributing to the development of technical capability across the team. Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and providers, championing collaborative working and high service standards. Attend client meetings independently and deliver presentations to client and employee groups as required. Key Skills & Experience Professional Qualifications & Technical Knowledge Progress towards or possession of the Dip CII (or Advanced Diploma), with strong Risk knowledge and significant relevant industry experience. Extensive experience providing complex Risk advice, including strategic reviews, design and implementation of solutions. Broad understanding of relevant current and emerging financial legislation and regulation, with the ability to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities. Skills & Capabilities Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong planning, organisational, and time‑management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a complex portfolio. Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and build trusted long‑term relationships. High proficiency in Windows (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Personal Attributes Proactive, commercially aware, and confident operating at senior client and internal leadership levels.
