Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours for our NHS client based in Oxford, Oxfordshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
Responsibilities
As a Consultant for the General Adult Psychiatry Ward, your key responsibilities include:
* Providing high-quality patient care
* Conducting comprehensive assessments
* Developing individualized treatment plans
* Maintaining compliance with all legal obligations as prescribed by the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice
* Assessing patients under the MHA and making recommendations under the MHA
* Acting as Responsible Clinician (RC)
Qualifications and Experience
* Full GMC license to practice
* Section 12 approval
* Approved Clinician status
* Previous experience in a similar role
