Cost Manager Senior - Associate Director (Commercial/Contractual)
Join this dynamic team as a construction professional providing professional commercial and contract advisory services and dispute resolution. As a key player, you will report directly to the Managing Director, leveraging your construction-related degree and years of experience in dispute resolution/avoidance services and advice or managing claims/disputes.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and provide expert advice on construction contracts.
* Assist clients in avoiding disputes through commercially-focused advice.
* Address issues related to loss and delay.
* Collaborate with our Delay Analysts on time-related matters.
* Deliver coaching and training sessions on commercial, contractual, and time-related matters.
* Represent clients in various tribunals.
* Provide managerial support to the Managing Director.
The Successful Applicant
We're seeking a candidate with a proven track record, possessing:
* Construction degree qualification, preferably in Quantity Surveying.
* Chartered or other relevant professional qualification.
* Extensive experience in construction commercial and contractual advice.
* Expertise in dispute avoidance or resolution.
* Leadership skills and a desire to develop team members.
* Profound knowledge of commercial and contractual matters.
* Strong communication skills and assertiveness.
* Familiarity with JCT, NEC, and non-standard forms of contract.
