Job overview
Nottingham University Hospitals seeks to replace aging Radiometer Blood Gas analysers with new models from the same supplier. The postholder will lead verification and implementation, working with clinical teams, Trust departments, and suppliers across QMC and City campus to ensure safe training and deployment of the analysers.
Main duties
* Lead evaluation and implementation of new IT-connected Blood Gas Analysers, aligning with ISO:15189:2022 standards.
* Collaborate with clinical and Trust teams, and suppliers to develop compliant processes and procedures.
* Supervise, train, and coach staff as delegated.
* Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and Competency Documents.
* Plan own work and supervise staff activities.
