A great opportunity for an established Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a Major contractor in the Education sector. The company has an enviable workload in the sector, with projects ranging from £20m - £100m in value.
Responsibilities
* Advising on financial feasibility on projects at early stages
* Assessing returns from sub contractors and awarding work packages
* Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure through CVR reporting
* Checking, collating information from your team and producing accurate financial reports
Requirements
* Managing QS with experience managing teams delivering new and refurbishment/extension projects in the South London and Kent regions
* Experience in working on two-stage bids
* Recent relevant experience in the sector in a tier One contracting environment
* Confidence and drive in dealing with the client team, sub contractors and external stakeholders
* Enjoy motivating and mentoring your team and junior members of staff
