Position: SEND Teaching Assistant

Hours: Full-time or Part-time available
We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs and disabilities in a primary or secondary school setting in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with a range of SEND needs including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning programs
Promote positive behaviour and emotional development
Adapt classroom activities to meet individual needs
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents
Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEND children in schools, childcare, or youth work
A calm, patient, and flexible approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Right to work in the UK
A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Available to start from September

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
