About the Role As a Void Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that empty properties (voids) are prepared to a high standard and ready for new occupants. You will manage day-to-day void maintenance operations, oversee subcontractors, carry out inspections, and ensure that all work meets quality, safety, and customer service standards. You will manage the delivery of void maintenance services, ensuring that all properties meet move-in standards and that all inspections and minor works are completed efficiently. You will oversee subcontractors, ensuring high-quality delivery, compliance with health and safety standards, and adherence to performance targets. You will work closely with the VIVO Delivery Manager, maintaining excellent communication, monitoring performance, and supporting the development of the voids service. The role also involves self-management, reporting, and the ability to problem-solve and make decisions on site. The role offers flexibility and independence. You will be home-based, managing your own schedule and travelling directly to sites daily. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided. Typical travel times from Exeter are within 40 minutes to most sites, making it an ideal base location. What You Will Bring You will ideally have previous experience in housing maintenance, voids, or a trade background. Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills are essential, along with an understanding of health and safety compliance. This role suits someone who is proactive, dependable, and able to manage their own workload effectively. Experience in subcontractor management is highly desirable, along with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and high-quality outcomes. A full UK driving licence and the ability to obtain BPSS Clearance are required.
