We’re now looking for a Development Manager to join us at a critical point in the evolution of our technology platform and team. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this is a senior leadership role with real influence, visibility, and ownership across our development function. Job Description Why this role? This role sits at the centre of SPARK TSL’s technology strategy, with a real opportunity to influence how we design, modernise, and scale our platforms across healthcare, travel, leisure, and public venue markets. You’ll be joining at an important point in our evolution, as our development strategy shifts towards an AI-centric way of working. The focus isn’t on using AI as a bolt-on tool, but on thoughtfully embedding it across the development lifecycle to improve productivity, quality, and decision-making. The impact you’ll have You’ll help ensure that SPARK TSL’s development approach: Delivers our solutions in parallel with clarity and predictability Builds interchangeable, resilient teams without key-person dependency Embeds AI-assisted development and automation to improve productivity and quality Evolves QA from feature-level testing to full end-to-end solution ownership Balances speed, quality, compliance, and commercial priorities Creates clear metrics around delivery performance, quality, and system reliability This is not a purely technical management role. You’ll be a visible leader within the business, responsible for setting direction, driving accountability, and ensuring that development, QA, Product, and Operations work together to deliver consistent, end-to-end customer quality.
