About the Role Were recruiting on behalf of a respected provider of residential care and education for children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, and emotional or behavioural needs.
As a Team Leader, youll support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, lead a dedicated team, and ensure children receive safe, consistent, and high-quality care that helps them grow and thrive.
Main Responsibilities Lead, guide, and motivate residential care staff.
Deliver person-centred support and maintain care plans.
Manage shifts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Support education, health, and personal development.
Promote positive behaviour and manage challenges calmly.
Ensure safeguarding and Ofsted compliance.
Work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins (£50 per night).
Requirements Essential:
Experience in childrens residential care.
Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples Workforce (or equivalent).
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Flexibility for shift work and sleep-ins.
Desirable:
Working towards or open to Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification.
Previous experience as a Senior or Team Leader.
Full UK driving licence.
