The Role
We're hiring an SC Cleared IT Configuration Technician to join our night shift team in Hatfield on a 3-month contract. You'll be responsible for configuring and preparing IT systems for deployment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with strict protocols.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with full training provided and the opportunity to work within a secure, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Configure and install software on IT hardware using detailed build scripts (training provided)
* Perform manual data entry into spreadsheets (25-50% of the role)
* Handle IT equipment (boxing/unboxing, pallet movement, consignment preparation)
* Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and follow strict configuration procedures
* Work to defined SLAs and performance targets
What You'll Need
* Active SC Clearance (essential)
* Experience in IT configuration, deployment, or support
* Strong attention to detail and manual data entry skills
* Familiarity with Microsoft desktop operating systems
* Good understanding of IT hardware and components
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Flexibility and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
