CRS are currently assisting our leading Hire client in sourcing a full time Hire controller for the Inverness Branch.
The Hire Controllers are the first people customers see when they walk through the doors. You’ll support the branch in all areas of hire, sales and customer service. As such you will be there to help customers in any way possible from processing customer orders over the phone to helping out in the branch and on occasion helping with deliveries and collections.
Key Responsibilities for the Hire Controller:
* Be the first point of contact for customer calls and visits to the depot
* Maximise hire and sales revenue
* Cover deliveries and collections when essential to business demands
* Ensure vehicle are always loaded safely and in line with company procedures
* Carry out daily compliance and H&S checks, as directed
* Assist and attend stock takes as required
Desired experience for Hire Controller:
* Experience of delivering excellent customer service
* Effective communicator
* Good attention to detail and IT skills
* Knowledge of local area
* Valid driving licence
* Knowledge of hire industry desirable but not essential
* Knowledge of equipment desirable not essential
