An experienced Industrial Electrician is needed to join a busy installation team. The role will involve electrical installation, modification, and maintenance of industrial electrical and control systems in a variety of industries include water, chemicals, waste management and manufacturing.
Responsibilities include:
Carry out electrical installation works
Install, terminate, test, and commission of LV power and control cabling, motors, pumps, MCCs and panels.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Complete electrical testing, fault finding, and minor commissioning activities
Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and site teams to deliver works efficiently
Accurately complete site documentation, test records, and job reports
Support planned maintenance, reactive works, and shutdown activities
Participate in standby / call-out rota when requiredSkills and Experience:
Strong background in industrial electrical installations
Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
Experienced at installing control panels and instrumentation systems
Competent in fault finding and electrical testing
Any PLC programming experience would be an advantage
Full UK driving licence
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation / Engineering

ECS / CSCS cardThe role is a mixture of workshop and site based work so you will need to be prepared to work away with overnight stays when needed
Salary c£50-60K + benefits (depending on experience)
