Working Patterns: rotating shifts Monday to Friday
We are recruiting for a fast-paced multi-site manufacturer in FMCG manufacturing and packaging sectors.
We are seeking a talented and qualified individual with an electrical bias, who is a great problem solver and has continuous improvement ideas, to thrive in a proactive electrical front-line maintenance role.
Key Responsibilities – Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer
* Service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using appropriate tools in a safe manner.
* Examine machinery and equipment, report on their condition and performance, and plan improvements.
* Carry out planned and preventative maintenance according to schedules.
* Work as part of a team to maintain site operations to World Class Standards.
Qualifications & Requirements – Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer
* Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar manufacturing qualification.
* Equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with manufacturing experience.
* Technical experience as a competent electrical engineering professional, with problem-solving skills and PLC/automation experience; capable of producing safe systems of work.
* Ability to contribute to development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, or maintenance of products, equipment, processes, or services.
* This is an all-round hands-on electrical maintenance role, including conveyors and end-of-line packing processing.
* Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organization of engineering plant are essential.
