Our teams are fully committed to Cambian’s vision. They understand the challenges and rewards of working with our young people and know that every day they will achieve things that really matter.
This is no ordinary role. The pace is fast. There’s lots of variety. And you’ll need to be able to provide a therapeutic service to young people placed within community residential settings. Offering lots of autonomy, your role will involve assessing and identifying the needs of our young people and staff by meeting them through consultation/training and reflective practice.
Supporting our teams across the residential homes, you’ll spend most of your time out in the field, providing specialist assessments of children and young people within the residential setting. You will formulate and implement plans of therapeutic intervention/management of our children and young people’s presentations to embed trauma‑informed approaches and psychological understanding the difficulties within the current evidence‑based practice. This will be in conjunction with the wider MDT.
