We are seeking a dependable and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team on an ongoing contract basis within a demanding manufacturing environment. You will work on a rotating 3-shift pattern, carrying out maintenance on high-duty production machinery and electrical systems to minimise downtime and maintain safe, efficient operations. This role will be based just outside of Nottingham. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on heavy industrial plant and production equipment. Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective, timely repairs. Work on motors, VSDs (Variable Speed Drives), 3-phase systems, and safety relays as part of routine maintenance and breakdown response. Ensure all work complies with site safety standards, regulations, and electrical legislation. Requirements Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in heavy industry (concrete manufacturing, aggregates, cement, quarry or similar). Strong understanding of motors, VSDs, 3-phase electrical systems, and safety relays. Solid fault-finding skills on industrial electrical equipment and PLC-based systems. Relevant electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent). Ability to work independently across shifts with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
