PAINTER / DECORATOR | £14.87 per hour
In this role, you will undertake planned decoration to accommodation lodges and central building facilities, with the flexibility to fulfill reactive decorating work orders on a daily basis. This role will be fully integrated within the maintenance team, ensuring guest standards are constantly improved.
Responsibilities Will Include
1. Undertaking planned painting, working to an agreed programme of works within accommodation units on changeover days.
2. Ensuring works are sequenced to allow surfaces to be suitably dry for arriving guests to use the accommodation.
3. Working within and as part of the Technical Services Maintenance team, collaborating closely with the Accommodation Services teams.
4. Working within central facilities out of trading hours, with flexibility for early mornings or night shifts, depending on trading unit requirements.
5. Completing reactive work orders within the specified time frames.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, as you will regularly interact with colleagues and guests. Trade experience and technical knowledge are essential.

Hours of Work
You will be contracted to work 64 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis, with varying days and hours each week, but always meeting your contracted hours. The role includes working on public/bank holidays, Christmas, and New Year on a rota basis.
About You
Essential requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in Painting & Decorating (6707-33) or equivalent experience.
* Qualified and experienced in erecting and dismantling access equipment and working platforms.
* Proven ability to complete works to a high standard.
* Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Good communication skills at all levels.
* Current full UK Driving Licence.
Additional Skills:
* Applying hangings to walls and ceilings.
* Producing specialist architectural finishes.
* Preparing surfaces for decoration.
* Applying paint systems by brush and roller.
* Applying and creating colour.
Desirable:
* Experience in a dynamic organization.
* Proven organizational skills.
* Qualified and experienced in the use of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP).
