Key Account Manager – Energy Sector
We’re seeking a strategic, commercially minded Key Account Manager to join a leading independent energy supplier working with some of the UK’s largest and most complex energy consumers.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and nurturing long-term relationships with major clients. This will involve overseeing tenders, shaping pricing strategies, and driving growth through renewals, upselling, and tailored energy solutions.
This will be a hybrid position in London – one to two days a week onsite.
What You’ll Do
* Manage and renew key industrial and commercial accounts (30-60GWh+ energy consumption).
* Lead complex tenders from enquiry to deal acceptance.
* Collaborate with internal trading and operations teams to structure commercial proposals.
* Identify growth and cross-sell opportunities within strategic accounts.
* Act as a trusted advisor, staying ahead of market trends and driving innovation for clients.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience managing key accounts in the UK I&C energy market.
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills, ideally with knowledge of flexible supply products.
* Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset.
* Organised, analytical, and results-oriented.
